good location - very close to train station and not far from main tourist sites, free street parking, ok breakfast included in price (croissant, cookies, bunt cake, coffee, tea, juice) rooms are maybe ready for refurbishment there is a lift in the building
This is a convenient and good quality bnb in a strategic area. Close to the station and also on a walkable distance to the major tourist attractions of Palermo. Staff very kind and helpful, I strongly recommend this place
We stayed for 5 days in Dimora Annulina. The location is perfect, as it is close to all the nice places, plus the central station. Cleanliness in my opinion was very bad, The building was very old, and it was not a problem, the problem was ripped bed cover, One morning I almost tripped over it as my foot got stuck in the hole. Shower drain was blocked. The walls looked like painted 30 years ago, On top of it we were charged extra 20 euro for God knows what, apparently some taxes, obviously the receipts was not provided, even though we asked. The man on the reception didn't speak any English so he just ignored us when we asked for the receipt. We booked it by travel agency and we were told that everything is paid through them. Place was very dusty, breakfast was not good just plain croissants. I really don't understand the good reviews this place has, as it is definitely not 3 star place.
We booked this room for a one night stay in Palermo (June 2024) for a little less than 60 euros. Therefore we knew that we would be getting very basic accommodation, nothing fancy and that's okay cause that's what we wanted. However, it's not okay that the room was dirty and had many hazards that have nothing to do with the esthetics of the place. For example, the ceiling had started chipping off, the shower would not drain, the window shutters were broken and replaced with a piece of cardboard and most importantly the bed was broken so when we layed down to sleep we could feel half our body falling down. Pillows were a joke, I literally used my plane pillow to be able to get some decent sleep. On the good side : the location was close to the city center, however looked a bit risky to leave your car parked on the street like their page said. Besides there were signs all over the facility indicating that they tow any cars parked there. We therefore used a private parking spot for 27 euros per 18 hours very close to the facility. Also very basic breakfast was included in the price with your typical croissant, fruit, some other pastries and hot coffee. That was nice.
Super convenient location near Palermo Central train and bus stations. Clean rooms with AC and heating. Excellent service. Breakfast could be a little better but you can’t ask so much for such a good price.
