Domus Amelio Country Rooms

Myself and my wife stayed with Marco for 1 night in June. The accommodation was clean , authentic, very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. Marco picked us up from the airport late at night and dropped us to a restaurant for dinner . He came back and picked us up. The next day he dropped us to the car rental station at the airport and provided us with lots of advice on touring Sicily. Marco was very helpful and friendly and I would thoroughly recommend Domus Amelia for a property close to the airport and convenient to Palermo. I would also note that it was excellent value for money.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning and Marco came and collected us from the airport. What a beautiful hotel. Rooms are modern spacious airy and immaculately clean with a lovely outside courtyard. Marco cannot do enough for his guests. His communication before we arrived was excellent and he couldn’t be more helpful. We thoroughly recommend this property if staying near Palermo airport

We had a short but very pleasant stay here. Marco was incredibly friendly. We felt welcomed from the first second. He gave us the nicest room with the beautiful terrace. He drove us to the town near by, where we had a fantastic last dinner while watching the beautiful sunset over the ocean. Before our early flight we had a good rest in the very comfortable beds. Thanks again for the hospitality.

Mario’s place is exactly what you need when you have an early flight. We arrived early evening with supplies, prepared to need food and drinks, am coffee, etc. But, no! The room had EVERYTHING you’d want. Fully stocked mini bar, snacks, coffee/tea/MILK! In addition, Mario offered to shuttle us to a restaurant if we needed. The room is super clean and comfortable and he provides earplugs to help with the unavoidable but manageable airport and hotel noise. He was so easy to communicate with, picking us up at our rental car agency and dropping us VERY early in the morning. His fees are beyond reasonable given his availability and room rates. No question, here is where we will stay when departing from Palermo.

The room is lovely and you can feel the love and care put into decorating it. Very cosy and with lots of clever extras. Ours came with netflix and a wine/coffee bar for example…Mattress and pillow seemed of high quality and the water pressure in the shower after a long day of travelling was awesome! The host Marco is a kind and very accommodating person. For a small fee he picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at the car rental the day after. He even provided some free treats and very reasonably priced drinks for us! Would absolutely stay here again!
