Excellent location. The beach is within easy reach. There's a bakery at the top of the villa's staircase. Beautiful rooms with typical villa ceiling heights – very nice.
We spent our summer vacation again this year in Frisia Apartment 22. Everything was still fantastic. The location, value for money, and amenities were excellent. We stayed again in Apartment No. 22 with a terrace. A wonderful vacation, a clean and tastefully decorated apartment, and we had everything we needed. We'll be back... See current photos above. Once again...everything was perfect!!! Superbly equipped and, above all, clean and comfortable, with new appliances and furniture, and a new, comfortable mattress with a mattress protector. The bathroom is clean with a walk-in shower and even a shower stool. There's a private parking deck at the building, accessible via Bergstraße at the back. The agency staff gave us clear directions. The bakery is right next door, and you're immediately in the pedestrian zone and on the beach, yet it's very quiet. A superb location! Of course, we stayed again in Apartment No. 22 with a terrace.
Apartment 30 is not recommended... We booked the apartment through Usedom Travel. There's nothing to complain about there. They did everything they could to resolve the issue and were very understanding. The problem here lies with the owner. Instead of painting and hanging pictures, they should focus on the furnishings. Generally, everything makes a good impression, but upon closer inspection... Some of the cupboard doors are difficult to open; we often ended up with the knobs in our hands. Things got really bad on the first evening. The shower door leaked completely. No matter what you do, the bathroom flooded. In the master bedroom, one of the beds had collapsed. We checked... two different, mismatched bed frames. It had already been patched up once and then the caretaker had tried to fix it again with cable ties. And then there were a few other minor things that simply shouldn't be there. Broken glasses in the cupboard, and incomplete dishes and cutlery... Perhaps the location is some consolation. The balcony is really quite large. But remember, hungry seagulls love to visit ;-)
Great location, very close to the beach. In the evenings you can hear live music from the Bansin concert pavilion. The kitchen is very well equipped; you could host dinner parties here with so many plates, glasses, etc. There's even a sandwich toaster, toaster, immersion blender, and more. The furniture is very tastefully chosen, and there's plenty of storage space for all your holiday belongings. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. The beds are okay. One star deducted for some dark stains in the corners, indicating dampness. And for the disgusting laundry room with the washer/dryer in the basement (for a fee). The machines are perfectly fine and clean. €2.50 for a wash or a dryer load. However, the room is dirty, smelly, and you wouldn't want to look in the corners – there might be animal droppings!
The apartment itself was lovely. Unfortunately, the cleanliness wasn't up to par everywhere (especially the balcony). The underground parking garage is cramped and a bit of an adventure, especially if you don't drive a Polo. The location is fantastic; the bakery is just 10 meters away, and the beach is 100 meters away.
