Agriturismo Il Quadrifoglio

Amazing Agriculturalal tourist hotel in the hills above Pescara. We had a nice 3 course dinner and good breakfast in the morning. Our room opened onto a beautiful pool. 180 degrees of view outside. Very comfortable bed, interesting furnishings and very nice hospitality from Miss Anna

We had an excellent time at il Quadrifoglio. Beautiful place, nice location, good food, friendly staff. We were there at the same time as Alessandro who wrote a really bad review and I am honestly very surprised. The garden is beautiful, it's not a trimmed lawn but that is not at all what it is supposed to be. Breakfast is fine, it's not just bread and butter, that is simply not true, there's jam and if you want there is cereal etc. And about dinner, not sure how many agriturismos Alessandro has visited but it's quite common to have a set menu. Dinner was fine by the way and at a very fair price. I'm just completely stunned how two different people can have such completely different experiences. Thanks il Quadrifoglio, we will be back!

Amazing view, that’s all. When we arrived the host didn’t have time to welcome us because she was ‘cooking’. The room was dirty with hairs in the bathroom. We could hear other guests snore in the other appartement. The food was a disgrace for Italian food, horrible! Definitely not worth €15 pp. No fresh pasta but supermarket farfalle-pasta with a distasteful red sauce that wasn’t fresh, served with hard bread. After that a meat that we couldn’t discover which animal it was from so we didn’t eat it. The tomatoes were okay. Because we didn’t eat the meat, we were offered some cheese, but the cheese had mold/fungus on it.. so we didn’t eat that either. The breakfast were cookies with toasted white bread and low quality jam. The fruit served with it wasn’t fresh either. Not the agriturismo we expected (if it’s even an agriturismo at all…) would not go back.

Clean rooms, very good dinner for only e15, nice location.

The owner spoke very good English and she was extremely helpful. We spent four nights bed and breakfast in an apartment looking over the Chieti valley with mountains in the background - quite idyllic. Optional dinner every evening which was extra, but well worth it. Her regional cooking with wine was excellent, perfect after a day touring the beautiful countryside. Suggest phoning direct to confirm reservation. Very welcoming.
