I strongly advise against this place. The photos don't reflect reality. The rooms are old and small, with a single window covered by a plain curtain that lets in light in the morning. The bathroom is narrow and has no bidet. The pillowcases, sheets, and towels are stained. There's a €9 parking fee, but they only let you know shortly before your arrival. The parking is on a very narrow road that makes getting in and out difficult. Far from the sea and the city center. The breakfast was basic and poor. We asked for a car seat for our baby, but they didn't have one... and ours wasn't the only child. The staff was rude and arrogant. They asked for our documents after asking for the receipt, thus implying they hadn't filed a tax return with the municipality. Zero tolerance and humanity. We had booked two rooms, and despite canceling one a full month and a half in advance, they charged us 50% of the deposit. Outrageous. This place is there purely for profit.
I'm not expressing an opinion on the property, but on the integrity of the owner, Francesco. For my wedding at a local restaurant, we agreed on a price, including breakfast, for all eight rooms that the guests would book individually. At the time of booking, the price was different from what was agreed upon and did not include breakfast. When repeatedly urged to honor the agreement, Francesco responded that he would ensure the requested service was provided. This morning, when breakfast was served, the dining room was closed, as was the affiliated bar. Guests were not offered an alternative. Francesco, integrity is more important than a few extra euros. Remember that. We will obviously stay away from your property, and I hope many others will too.
Four of us stayed at the B&B for a running race (PugliabyUTMB). I'll start by talking about the quadruple room we were assigned. It was too small for four people, with a double bed and a bunk bed, and no room to move around. When we arrived, we realized the hot water boiler was turned off, so we waited two hours before we could take a hot shower. We hadn't been told anything. Parking: I'd never heard of paid parking inside a building (a small shelter in the garden), €9 per day. Service was nonexistent. We found one roll of toilet paper for four people. The housekeeping was poor, and the garden outside our room was full of pigeon droppings, not even a rug to wipe our shoes on before entering. Since we were here to run the various races, we asked if we could have breakfast before breakfast time, but we were immediately told no. They just left us a few slices of toast in the room as a solution. Unfortunately, there was no table or space to eat it there. We discussed this with the property manager, whom we met on the last day to settle the bill (she arrived before breakfast time). She replied that they weren't prepared for the event and weren't aware of it. The five rooms were all occupied by athletes competing. With a little willpower, an early breakfast would have been doable. We enjoyed breakfast on the last day, which was disappointing. There were pre-packaged cakes, cookies, and croissants, toast, and mandarins. Nothing fresh or savory. Unfortunately, we can't say it was a positive experience. If we were to return, we would definitely choose another property.
I spent 1 night in this beautiful placebo andare my experience was great! The double bed was in perfect condition (nice and clean), the bathroom has the shower and wc. In order to reach the sea you should go by car (Highly recommended). That residence is not so far from the beach (approx. 1 km). Enjoy :)
