Antica Torre del Borgo

Such a charming and memorable stay! Our room had a wonderful view and it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious and authentic. Sascia is truly an amazing host. She was so kind and gave us great recommendations during our stay. This was our favorite part of our Italy trip. We can’t wait to come back some day!

If there is a better bed and breakfast, I have yet to find it. Given the reviews we had high expectations, Sascia and her place far exceeded what we could have hoped for. Room was very clean, cozy, and charming. View from our room (Rosmarino) was a dream too. Authentic Italian breakfast served daily. Order the day before by 7p and it is ready in the selected time slot the next morning. Sascia offered a great winery recommendation which we were able to add to our itinerary. She can also connect you with taxi/ride services. This winery was one of our favorite experiences of the trip (A Solatio). I cannot properly express our gratitude to Sascia for her wonderful hospitality and property. This is a special place.

This was our first time in Italy. In the Lazio region, we visited Rome, and in Tuscany we visited Florence, San Gimignano, Fucecchio and Certaldo. However, our stay in Certaldo (Certaldo Alto) was our favorite and most special part of the trip. And our stay at Antica Torre del Borgo, hosted by Sasha, made it even more special. The town is incredibly beautiful and feels a bit secluded. There are also wonderful places to visit, including museums and excellent restaurants, both in Certaldo Alto and Certaldo Basso. It’s ideal for those looking for a unique place that is not overcrowded with tourists. Antica Torre was the perfect place to spend a few nights. The room felt like something out of a movie. Sasha is a kind and wonderful person who made us feel like family from the very first moment. She was always available to answer questions and offer suggestions about what to do nearby. We were truly impressed by the attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious. I could go on, but I’ll summarize it this way: we are from Puerto Rico and we can’t wait to return and stay at Antica Torre again. We felt that two nights were simply not enough to fully enjoy this small but very charming town and to visit our good friend Sasha again. Thank you for making our visit so unforgettable. Such a beautiful place, really cozy and comfortable. It’s located in a beautiful quiet area, in the heart of Certaldo. Also the service and communication with Sasha is great, you can tell that they really take care of it and put a lot of care. The breakfast was amazing, with delicious handmade baked goods, everything was clean and perfect. Really recommend it.

This has been the absolutely best stay during our two week Tuscany vacation. Sascia was the perfect host and gave us a great restaurant recommendation for dinner. Room was cozy and amazingly appointed with charming touches that made it feel just like home! Bathroom was very modern and spacious. The room had everything you could possibly want or need. Great long range views from the windows made the stay even more magical. BUT the best part of the stay, even topping the amazing room, was the morning breakfast. What a feast of fresh culinary creations from local artisan businesses. As we live in Umbria, and the Certaldo has a train station, we look forward to our soon return.
