Great location and really smooth communication with the host, no problems at all. If you’re planning to visit Florence or Pisa you should consider this place to stay.
This is a great hotel! A 2 minute walk to the train station & very easy to get to Pisa and Florence from here! Empoli is such a beautiful town & we were so pleased with this conveniently located, well equipped, and clean accommodation!
We stayed for 5 nights in April. The property was nicer and more spacious than we expected, well-equipped with an efficient kitchenette. The central location close to the train station, bars, restaurants, pasticerias, decent supermarkets and laundromats. Manager Ms Vanna was responsive and helpful. It was a perfect base for us.
(Can you give 6 for service?) We stayed in Empoli as a base to visit Florence, Pisa and Lucca. Staying out of the main tourist areas is often cheaper and less busy, but not necessarily less of a holiday. We found Empoli to be a great base for a holiday, The hotel is spotlessly clean, warm and the host is an absolute delight. The bed was very comfortable and a pleasure to sleep in. Access to the building is via a keypad as are the rooms, simplicity itself. The front of the building is deceptive though, you could almost miss the door, but with the excellent direction provided it was not an issue. Despite believing that there would be no one there to greet us, the host (Vanna) had messaged us to inform us she would be there when we arrived and showed us to our room. What a wonderful host, I really can't stress that enough, I feel that nothing would be too much for her. She even left a bottle of wine and pastries in our room for my wife's birthday. The location was excellent as it is such a short walk to the train station and also to the local stores and restaurants. Truly a great place to stay.
I stayed in the apartment with the kitchenette, which is bigger and nicer than the rooms. Rooms are up stone steps on the first floor I don't usually like staying in contactless accommodation that has no reception, but Vanna is a good communicator and quick to reply. There is no view as the whole building is covered in scaffolding. This construction will be going on for a long time. You can barely open the shutters halfway because of the scaffolding. Wifi and A/C are good.
