We stayed at this hotel for three nights and absolutely loved it. It’s family-owned, and everyone running it was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The view from our superior room overlooking the valley was outstanding, and the scenery from the pool area was just as breathtaking. Afterward, we spent three nights at a more luxurious resort, but the food there wasn’t nearly as good as what we enjoyed at La Malva. And when it comes to the views, La Malva simply can’t be beaten. We would definitely return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, authentic, and memorable stay.
A wonderful stay, excellent views, tranquil location and exceptional staff staff. A family run guest house with tasty restaurant, swimming pool and great views of the nearby valley. The room was slightly dated but absolutely fine. Would recommend.
Villa La Malva is a stunning place to stay in the heart of Tuscany! This family-run hotel offers breathtaking views of vineyards and rolling hills, which you can enjoy right from your balcony or terrace. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely dinner at the hotel restaurant. The traditional Tuscan dishes were amazing, but the absolute star was the steak – perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor, just as you’d expect from Italian cuisine! Of course, it was paired with excellent local wine. The hotel also has a beautiful pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Since it’s located in a peaceful countryside area, having a car is definitely helpful, but if you’re looking for a relaxing stay with an authentic Tuscan atmosphere, Villa La Malva is a perfect choice. I’d love to come back!
Where to start with this place. The service is the worst I have ever experienced, and I’ve traveled a lot. On arrival we were spoken to through a fence as if we were not going to be welcomed. However it then got worse. The owner is Swedish and obviously thought that we could not understand what they were saying as we were speaking Portuguese to each other. Unfortunately for the young girl my son is Swedish and understood everything she was saying. Rude is an understatement. Judging us by nothing but appearances which is just totally unacceptable in the hospitality industry. She was a young girl who obviously had no experience so I’ll forgive it slightly but had a lot to learn if she wants to have a successful career in this industry. The owner was slightly more apologetic but still didn’t get the impression she really cared. We cancelled our booking immediately and went up the road for a proper hospitality experience and delighted we made that choice. It had potential as the view is lovely but with staff like that I’d avoid at all costs!
Very welcoming and friendly villa. We stayed here for a week and our host were very kind. Some highlights were the lovely view on the top floor for breakfast. This villa is also very family friendly and had a restaurant which is very helpful for days you just want to eat inside. A very kind and welcoming family, good value for money, beautiful location. Will love to visit again. Thank you
