Professionalism, cleanliness, hospitality especially from the manager who accompanied us and also made us visit a small church adjacent to the structure which is very beautiful and worth a visit.
We visited this wonderful village last weekend and stayed at Drago Maraone! What a wonderful discovery! An enchanting place! The owner was incredibly kind and attentive to guests' needs, the breakfasts were generous and authentic, and the room was comfortable and extremely clean! A delightful little spot near a stream... it truly seems like something out of a fairytale!
A delightful property, completely renovated with care and refined style. The owner masterfully crafted the finishing touches. The room is comfortable and functional. The shower is very convenient. A self-service breakfast is served, featuring fresh fruit and homemade jams made by the owner. I highly recommend this B&B for those seeking a stopover or simply to relax. And even for those with no particular reason to visit Agolla, meeting Mr. Sandro alone is worth the trip. He's a delightful person, with an irrepressible creativity, a passion for doing things well, and a passion for beautiful things in his DNA. A human and cultural experience, more than just a B&B.
My only negative review concerns the single-person table set in the corner of the room, where you could enjoy a pitiful breakfast. Not to mention the provision of gluten-free products, a packet of biscuits and a packet of crackers. While on the second day, the breakfast provision was even more disappointing due to the lack of products. Regarding the room and bathroom, there were no complaints. RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS: You never asked anything about the services offered (room and breakfast). You only provided information about places to visit and recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. However, I've read from the few reviews that we're not the only ones dissatisfied with the breakfast service. Thank you and good luck.
We stayed at the Al Drago Maraone B&B, located in Agolla, a small, quiet village surrounded by nature with a variety of excursions. Upon arrival, Sandro and Elisabetta welcomed us warmly and were very helpful in providing local information. The location is truly unique, and the rooms are extremely clean. For breakfast, Elisabetta also offers delicious jams and pastries. Additionally, guests can use the sauna and Finnish bath upon request. Highly recommended.
