A beautiful place created by Ida and Luciano off the beaten track in Abruzzo. Quiet, peaceful with stunning views of snowy mountains and hilltop towns. Ida and Luciano are so welcoming (despite the language barrier) and the homemade breakfast is wonderful. There’s also a lovely pool for when the weather is warm enough.
Family-run farmhouse in a strategic location, just a short walk from a Roman villa (in a private area) and a beautiful 13th-century Cistercian abbey (unfortunately, the parish priest does not open the gardens to the public). Mrs. Ida is a perfect host, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is varied and plentiful. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The pool surrounded by olive trees is a relaxing place. The only drawback is the faulty WiFi network. Excellent value.
We had a truly lovely stay here. The the folks that run it took care of us like family, making sure that everyone of our needs were attended to. They are some of the kindest people we met in all of Italy. This is a great location close to many of the most beautiful towns in Abruzzo, as well as national parks, hiking, many vineyards. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This residence is located on a hill near the town center Manopello. It is a beautiful place that I have already visit twice. The owners are open and very friendly. The kitchen is terrific, with real Italian food! Rooms are clean, spacious and with a nice view on the mountains. Some even have a kitchen and fireplace. The surroundings are great, it is closeby a national park where you can hike on the mountain and have a very nice view of the area and even see the Adriatic Sea. If you want to visit Volto Santo, this is a great place to stay. The people are so friendly that it feels like you're part of their family. I am sure I will be visiting this place again!
