Impeccable hospitality and absolute relaxation! I stayed at Masseria Violante and it was a simply unforgettable experience, a true "place of the heart." The property is fantastic! The internal courtyard and the pool (always spotless and accessible) offer an atmosphere of peace and silence unlike any other, ideal for recharging after a day at the beach. The rooms are large, fresh, fragrant, and equipped with every comfort. The true soul of the masseria, however, is its wonderful family management. The owners, Elisa and Girolamo, along with the sweet little Violante, welcome you with rare kindness and discretion, making you feel part of the family from the moment you arrive. They are always ready to offer excellent strategic advice on local beaches and restaurants, even taking care of reservations for guests. Special mention also goes to the property's delightful four-legged friends, who cheered up our return home. The breakfast deserves an honorable mention: one of the best I've ever had! Every morning, Elisa prepares homemade specialties, both sweet and savory, varied and abundant, with the freshest ingredients and seasonal fruit. The location in Ruffano is also strategic: a perfect base for quickly reaching both the Ionian and Adriatic coasts, as well as the most charming villages like Specchia. Highly recommended. Beautifully renovated masseria with a pool. Stepping into the courtyard is like entering another world. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful, offering helpful tips. Breakfast is served at the table, and any requests are happily accommodated. Delicious savory and sweet pastries, fresh fruit, and coffee. They even packed up some leftovers for us to take to the beach! Incredibly thoughtful and sustainable! Our room was cleaned daily, and the dogs living on the property are very sweet. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay and his new friends. Parking is available on the premises. The bathroom is clean and new, and they provide not only towels but also pool towels, which is a great bonus! It's not far from beautiful beaches, and there are also a few good restaurants nearby (the owners are happy to recommend some if you'd like). Even after checking out, we were allowed to stay a little longer and enjoy our last morning in peace. This was very kind of the owner and much appreciated. Thank you again! The room was cleaned daily, and the dogs living on the property are very sweet. Minor drawbacks: No mosquito nets on the door or windows. If you left them open, you had to go mosquito hunting (sometimes more than five after just a few minutes), and woodlice or millipedes also found their way into the room. I would have liked to air out the room, especially after showering, due to the humidity. The towels smelled a bit stale.

We booked our accommodation for our holiday a week before going, and we weren't disappointed. Masseria Violente is absolutely beautiful, a real break away from reality! The rooms are lovely, breakfast delicious and the pool is so peaceful. The owners are wonderful, so hospitable, and really go above and beyond to make your stay a great one! We had restaurants booked for us every night by Elisa, each different and equally delicious - we definitely wouldn't have been able to find them on our own. We also had a late flight, and they kindly let us stay past check out time by the pool, and gave us one of the rooms to freshen up in before we left...and not to forget the gin & tonic kindly brought to us by Girolamo by the pool before we left! Such thoughtful hosts, we just wish we spoke Italian so we could have aperitivo together one evening! We will definitely be back!
