We spent a wonderful weekend at this B&B with my family. We were very pleased with the location, the cleanliness, and the friendliness we found. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, even managing to win over our daughters, which is no easy feat! He was able to point out unique places to visit within walking distance of the B&B that we otherwise wouldn't have seen. We plan to return very soon, perhaps in the summer to enjoy the lovely pool.

A quiet and carefree place, we highly recommend this property. Mr. Paolo is an extraordinary person who can satisfy even the most complicated of needs. Truly an excellent property 🌄

We stayed at the Contrada Macchia B&B for a few days this September. The B&B is strategically located for exploring southern Salento. In twenty minutes, you can reach fabulous places with crystal-clear waters like Marina Serra and Porto Miggiano, and in half an hour, you can reach the beautiful town of Leuca. We're also five minutes from a charming village called Specchia, very charming and not too touristy. The property has a homey, family-like feel; everything is quiet and comfortable. The manager, Paolo, is a wonderful person who offers valuable advice on places to visit and eat. We followed them all, and they were all perfect. There's a lovely pool (recently built) and lovely outdoor common areas. The room is simple, equipped with everything you need. For breakfast, Paolo picks up whatever you choose from the pastry shop in the morning. An added convenience is the presence of a laundry room, with detergent available for washing clothes, and drying racks exposed to the early morning sun, very useful for drying beach towels for the next day. The company of the two "guardian" cats, Arancio and Nerina, was also welcome. Overall, it was a pleasant experience that we will repeat.

We had great holidays here. Paolo is really helpful and friendly. There are many beautiful towns and natural beaches nearby, so every day of your vacation is different. The breakfasts and coffee are delicious. A place worth of coming back.
