Casina Montana B&B - a truly 5 star experience in the most beautiful farm setting. Greeted on arrival by Lina and her daughter Chiara. From the minute we arrived, to the minute we left, nothing was too much trouble, we had all the privacy we wanted whilst they were always on hand for any help or recommendations in the local area. Their hospitality really was quite exceptional. The accommodation and grounds are stunning. The gardens, pool area, dining area and rooms are immaculate. This creates a beautiful environment that added to the peace and tranquility of our stay. The breakfast is delicious, there was excellent variety throughout our stay, every morning there were different fruits, cakes, savouries, juices, teas and coffees, you certainly won't leave hungry. Linas husband, Leo is the chef and he is extremelly talented. There is the option to book evening meals on certain nights throughout the week and take cooking lessons, be sure to enquire when making your booking. We are a family of 5, Mum, Dad, Daughter 16, Son 15, Daughter 10. We stayed for 4 nights across 2 rooms and we all loved our stay. The children specifically enjoyed their time in the pool which was a great size. We visited the main towns of southern Puglia. Lecce - 25mins, Porto Cesareo - 40mins, Gallipoli - 40mins, Otranto- 25mins and Santa Maria De Leuca - 55mins. It was the perfect location for travelling this area. If you are lucky enough to have found this accomodation, don't hesitate for a second. Book it! Lina, Leo, Chiara, thank you for such a wonderful stay. Perfect place located about 30 mins by car outside of Lecce. Lina is the best host and a fantastic cook, also very accommodating for vegetarians. We will come back one day!

Lina and her daughter Chiara were fantastic hosts. We enjoyed talking to them each morning during the biggest and best breakfasts we have had. The food was fresh, most made there and very good. The fresh baked pastries were incredible. The B&B is beautiful and we enjoyed the place. We stayed 5 nights and did not want to leave. A car is a must, but the location is ideal to get to all of the beautiful villages in southern Puglia.

One of the places that deserves 6 stars instead of 5. It is absolutely perfect. The place, the service, the food. Absolutely perfect and I am looking forward to repeat.

Lina and Leo are fabulous hosts, made us feel so welcome. The breakfasts were amazing, seasonal farm produce, honey and freshly baked patisseries, different variety every morning. They even took us to a pizza restaurant in the nearby town so we could get a takeaway pizza for dinner one evening. The accommodation was spotless, modern and very comfortable in beautiful farmland surroundings. We stayed 4 nights, but I wish we could have stayed longer.
