We had a wonderful holiday at this agriturismo: a welcoming atmosphere in a natural setting that invites relaxation. Kudos to all the staff for their hospitality! Highly recommended.
We stayed 3 nights at this agriturismo and had a great time. It's a lovely, quiet, and relaxing place with a wonderful view of the Gran Sasso. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, helpful, and available for any requests. The food (breakfast and dinner) is very good and varied. Highly recommended!
Enchanting place, close to many points of interest, swimming pool with a magnificent view of the Gran Sasso, absolutely relaxing atmosphere, in the restaurant there is a trunk full of toys that brings all the children together to play while leaving the parents to dine in peace ❤️ Highly recommended.
We stayed for 8 days with our almost 2 and a half month old baby. Everything was impeccable, from the kitchen to the rooms. Maria Grazia and the entire staff were welcoming and fantastic! I highly recommend it and will definitely return for trips out of town to escape the city, even if just for a day. ☺️
Tana del Lupo was a stunning first stop on our bike tour of Abruzzo from the sea to the mountains. The location, views of the Gran Sasso, cosy chalets, delicious homemade cuisine and genuinely warm welcome from our hosts Maria Grazia and her daughter turned a planned one night stay into two. We were late on the first night, but it was no trouble to whip up dinner and Maria insisted we take our time and even have a quick swim under the brooding gaze of the Gran Sasso. The following day we walked to the nearby picturesque village of Poggio Umbricchio and then took in the spa, where views of the mountaintops greet you from the jacuzzi and the pool. We started with a dip in the divided pool. One side a straight swimming pool, the other a pool with a long seating shelf with rows of water jets to sit against and loosen up those tired and tight cycling muscles. The newly opened spa overlooking the pool consisted of a salt room with crunchy Himalayan salt under foot and halotherapy mists permeating the air. We could feel our skin and bodies after the previous day’s 100km ride heal and relax. Then we moved on to the dry sauna, the spacious jacuzzi and finally a Turkish hammam/hot steam bath. We left feeling relaxed and re-invigorated for the following day’s ride around Gran Sasso. Tana del Lupo is a gem in the mountains. We loved the food and the tranquil atmosphere created by Maria Grazia and her family. Decades of careful effort and beautiful craftsmanship have provided Tana del Lupo with the rare combination of genuine rustic charm and modern spa amenities. Maria Grazia’s joy and love for her home, business and family shines through in any conversation and her homemade strawberry jam is not to be missed. We look forward to coming back soon.
