I Laghetti del Bioagriturismo La Porta dei Parchi

Organic farm stay run by shepherds in the Sagittario Gorge, with restaurant and educational farm activities.

About

Anversa degli Abruzzi sits at the entrance to the Sagittario Gorge, one of the most striking landscapes on the L'Aquila side of the Apennines, between the national park and the river. La Porta dei Parchi grew out of the work of shepherds, and you feel it here: sheep, cheese and the rhythm of farm life are what matter. There's a restaurant, breakfast service, an educational farm where you can see how a flock actually works, wifi and parking. A place for those seeking authentic Abruzzo, the Abruzzo of seasonal migration and mountain tradition.

We spent the night here, accompanied by our dog. The yurt was warm and welcoming, and we slept to the sound of the stream right behind us. It was an unforgettable experience. Their restaurants, the park gate, and the torchlight are also highly recommended. Everything was homemade and delicious. We also thank Andrea so much for his guidance and advice on everything from nearby trails to food.

I had the pleasure of staying for two nights in this magnificent place with my Panda and roof tent, accessible only by small vehicles due to a steep descent. But I highly recommend staying in the yurts scattered throughout the park. Welcome and breakfast at the communal table, expertly prepared by the great Stefano. Magnificent manager Bruno, the highlight of the glamping site

The place is worth it. My boyfriend and I stayed there for two nights, and I wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful, relaxing, one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, and a breathtaking view of both the lakes and the stars! Stefano, the manager, is friendly, kind, and helpful; he made us feel truly at home. We'll gladly return 💜

Amazing experience to sleep in one of only a few yurts in this beautiful nature reserve. The yurts are beautifully styled and have everything you need and more. At night we spotted visiting wildlife from our private jacuzzi. Ninke is a great host, and made sure we had everything we needed. Directly from the site you can go on a beautiful hike through the WWF reserve. 5+ stars!!!
