We spent three days immersed in the greenery, a very peaceful place in the Abruzzo countryside, centrally located for visiting Campo Imperatore and its picturesque villages, the Stiffe Caves, and L'Aquila. Valerio welcomed us with his professionalism and friendliness, and gave us plenty of helpful tips for visiting these places. The room was spacious and clean, equipped with every comfort. A wonderful experience for those who love wide-open spaces. Valerio (the owner) offered a very kind welcome, attentive to every need and offering recommendations for nearby restaurants and places to visit. The rooms were spotless and spacious. Breakfast was a fantastic surprise, thanks to Claudia's truly remarkable pastries and the delicious coffee and milk served at the table. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended! The owners were very kind and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was excellent!!! Everything was homemade, the cakes and cookies were excellent! The carrot cupcakes were superb!!! The location is great for reaching Campo Imperatore or other places in the mountains. Thank you!
A great find. Immersed in the tranquility of nature. Beautiful, spacious and well-finished rooms. Plus, there are two added benefits: Valerio (better than a tour guide for places and restaurants to visit) coordinates everything together with Claudia (an excellent pastry chef). Beautiful spot held by Valerio and his partner, whose cooking skills will make your day from the moment you have your first breakfast. Impeccable rooms, lovely decoration and a breathtaking view of the mountains will immediately disconnect you from whatever stress you carry. They pay attention to every detail and you can tell that it's done with true devotion for service. Having worked in the tourism industry myself, I can assure you that Agriturismo C'era una Volta is exactly what any demanding traveler will enjoy and I can't wait to go back!
