Welcome to My Sicily Home, an independent house in the heart of Salemi, designed for those who want to experience Sicily slowly, savouring its small moments. The house has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living area, offering privacy and comfort for couples, families, small groups and your four-legged friends. The true heart of the house is the private garden: a small green refuge in the centre of Salemi, where you can start the day with breakfast outdoors, rest in the shade of our lemon tree or simply pause to listen to the silence. From the garden and outdoor spaces you can also admire views of Salemi Castle, which gives the house an even more special atmosphere. We chose to preserve some original details and traces of the house's history, blending them with more contemporary elements. Natural materials, family objects, Sicilian fabrics and small touches tell our connection to this place and help create an authentic and welcoming environment. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi, a comfortable desk for smart working, washing machine, free parking and all the main comforts for a pleasant and worry-free stay. My Sicily Home was born from a family home that we chose to preserve and transform into a place able to welcome new people, new memories and new stories. We will be happy to share with you our suggestions about places to discover, restaurants, experiences and corners of western Sicily that we particularly love, to help you get to know and experience the territory authentically. Salemi and Western Sicily Salemi is a village rich in history, culture and traditions, and represents an ideal starting point for discovering western Sicily. The Norman-Swabian Castle, the stone alleyways, the squares and panoramic views tell centuries of history and cultural influences. Salemi is also known as the City of Pani, as well as for its ceramic and craft traditions. Less than a kilometre from My Sicily Home you'll find Salemi Ceramics, an international school and workshop dedicated to ceramics and artistic craftsmanship, where you can learn from and be inspired by artisans and artists from around the world. Salemi's location also makes it easy to reach some of western Sicily's most fascinating destinations, including Erice, Trapani, Marsala, Mazara del Vallo, Segesta, Selinunte, Gibellina, the Zingaro Nature Reserve and San Vito Lo Capo. For those who want to explore the territory at a slower pace, you can discover wineries and vineyards, gastronomic experiences, cooking classes, nature activities and wellness moments in the surrounding area.
