La Portesina Mantova

I had a wonderful stay in Mantua at Ilaria's! The accommodation was extremely comfortable, tidy and pleasant, ideal for a stay with friends. Everything was of a high standard and we felt at home. Ilaria was an extremely kind and helpful hostess - she gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places worth visiting, and also helped us a lot with parking, which really made our stay easier. All praise and a warm recommendation to anyone planning to visit Mantua!

We had a truly wonderful week in this very tastefully decorated apartment. Another great feature is that up to four bikes can be safely parked in the courtyard! The apartment is very centrally located, and whether you want to go to the Mincio River or into town... everything is within walking distance.

The apartment is tastefully decorated with high-quality furniture, very clean, and perfectly equipped. The location is ideal, with the city center attractions within walking distance. The magnificent Virgiliana Park is just steps away, and don't forget the charming "Il Cerchio" bar opposite the park. We'd especially like to mention Ilaria's warm welcome, her helpfulness, and her many valuable tips. We felt very comfortable and were able to fully enjoy our holiday from day one. Thank you so much. December 2025: We were so impressed with Mantua and Ilaria's warm hospitality that, after our fall holidays, we spontaneously decided to book a few more days during the Advent period. We once again found the apartment very clean, perfectly furnished, and pleasantly warm despite the winter chill. Mantua is worth a visit even in winter. A truly welcoming vacation home in a historic building, immaculately clean, with everything you need for a relaxing stay, and very close to the city center, making it easy to explore local restaurants and all the cultural attractions. Ilaria's hospitality was exquisite; she recommended both things to see and where to eat. If you're visiting Mantua, it's the perfect place!

The apartment was very clean and equipped with all the necessary comforts. The property's location is excellent, allowing you to explore the city on foot. The owner, Ilaria, was very kind and helpful, even recommending itineraries and places of interest.
