An excellent place for a short stay, but also for a unique vacation. The property is very clean and well-maintained, with modern furnishings. The beds are comfortable, the room is equipped with every comfort (I give it a 10 for the very quiet air conditioning), and the private bathroom is large and practical. The kitchen area (shared between all three rooms) is very welcoming. The owner is kind, polite, and extremely helpful. We would have liked a slightly more generous breakfast, but our stay still deserves a high rating given the value for money.

The B&B La Casa dei Balocchi is in the historic center of Toirano and can be reached on foot or by car with the municipal pass after presenting the documents that confirm that you have a house in the historic center of Toirano.

I paid €71.50 for a single reservation for the night of December 6, 2025, canceling on December 5 due to force majeure. I did not sign any contracts or non-refund clauses, which would be unfair and void in the event of force majeure. The owner refused to accommodate my multiple attempts to accommodate from December 5 to 10, offering a refund limited to €1.50 (tourist tax) as the only response to my message of December 9. Nothing was done by 11:30 a.m. on December 10, 2025. The €71.50 refund is due due to force majeure (Article 1463 of the Italian Civil Code). Poor transparency. Not recommended. 1/5 stars.

Fantastic B&B, super clean and perfect in many details: a seal on the door before the first entry to confirm that everything has been cleaned and sanitized, biscuits and waffles in your room and complimentary water in the fridge in the communal kitchen where you also have a dedicated table in your room + coffee machine, etc. Air conditioning in perfect working order. Free parking 50 meters away. Everything is super new, with a very functional shower and a new and well-furnished room. The owner is very organized and precise with the instructions for check-in and entry to the building and room and even went out of his way (not to be expected!!!) to help us find a place to have dinner on Saturday evening for 10 people. Everything is absolutely positive and recommended. Obviously it is a bit far from the sea, but with a car to reach the various seaside resorts it is not a problem, so the price-quality ratio is absolutely winning. Congratulations!

Spot on. What else? The house offers great rooms, a bike garage, a lovely kitchen and Italian shower rooms. Furnitures are new, as sockets, coffee machine, hubs, sinks, showers and so on. 3 rooms, capacity 8 altogether. Bike garage with city bikes for a slow paced commute to the sea. Otherwise, bring yours and climb up the mountains surrounding this beautiful Ligurian village. You can go from sea level to 1000mt in 15 km. As I said, what else?
