Cascina Salaco is the feeling of home you experience as you walk up the driveway, the gentle rustle of the wind through the surrounding olive trees, the red sky as the sun dips into the sea next to Stromboli. But above all, Cascina Salaco is Isabella, the wonderful hostess who welcomes you with a sincere smile and whose precious advice enriches your stay in this wonderful region. Isabella is kind, helpful, and attentive; her advice allowed us to see magnificent places, choose the best route to each destination, and eat in typical restaurants. The breakfasts are delicious and a moment of serenity and sharing with this Hostess with a capital P. The Cascina's hilltop location offers cool nights, a refuge from the heat of summer days. We will definitely return; Cascina Salaco will once again be our starting point for exploring the surprising region of Calabria.
What can I say... an unforgettable week! Our vacation at Cascina Salaco was pure magic. The place is enchanting, with meticulous attention to detail and a tranquil setting. But the real gem is the hospitality of Isabella and Giovanni, who literally "pampered" us with their kindness and thoughtfulness. It's rare to find such a warm and genuine welcome. The recently renovated farmhouse is a truly charming and relaxing place. Isabella and her family are incredibly hospitable, and the breakfasts she prepares are delicious. The room we stayed in was very clean and had all the essentials, including a terrace with a panoramic view. The location is far from the hustle and bustle of Tropea and convenient for all the beaches. Highly recommended.
