B&B Il Tabernacolo

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Mariano’s property in Florence. Mariano was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available whenever needed. You can really see how much care and attention he puts into maintaining the accommodation — everything was spotless, comfortable, and very well organized. He also gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit and great restaurants to try, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The property is very well located in a lovely residential part of Florence, away from the busy tourist crowds, which made the stay feel much more authentic and relaxing. A beautiful 30-minute walk through charming Florentine streets takes you directly to the city centre, and the accommodation is also very well connected by bus. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Florence!

Mariano was a great host. Very friendly and responsive. He did his best to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. We got in very late because of a severe flight delay but waited and helped us get to the location safely. He was a great source of information for the city and beyond. The location was very cute and well maintained and generally clean. We just noticed a slight smoke smell with our mattress or pillow. The room was spacious and the ensuite private washroom worked well. The location is non-smoking though. The basic breakfast was always set up and waiting for us in the kitchen with coffee ready to be brewed in the moka pots for us. There is a great grocery store steps away as well as very nice Italian restaurant Jb7. The walking into the central tourist area of the city takes about half an hour but you can take a bus close by. Most of that route is a well-lit tourist shopping area street, but very quiet at night around the b&b. We would not hesitate to stay there again. Great value with such a great host.

Mariano is a sweet man who is ready to answer or assist with anything. My gf and I felt more than welcome. Beds are good, rooms clean. Would definitely stay here again when i visit Firenze.

Mariano is definitely the best host I’ve ever met! He welcomed us absolute friendly and gave us a lot of tipps about sightseeing and nearby restaurants. The room was also very clean and quiet, furthermore the room has an air conditioner too. Location was good as well, a couple minutes away from a bus stop which would directly take you to the city center. Price-performance ratio is definitely high, so I would recommend this hotel!

We had a great time in this beautiful and well cleaned B&B with my family. Mr. Mariano is really very nice guy who greet us with open arms and pleasure. The breakfast was good and enough. it's just approximate 2 km from city center but it's well connected with transportation system. Being on the road side, it was little bit noisy due to traffic movement but its acceptable. Exceptional value for money, and highly recommend.
