B&B Antico Palmento

We stayed at B&B Antico Palmento for a few days in June and greatly appreciated Nicola's hospitality, which helped us organize everything we needed. The location is also excellent: just steps from Canneto beach, an ideal spot for the sea and yet quieter than Lipari town. Nearby are a supermarket, pharmacy, a few restaurants, and the bus stop for Lipari and Aqua Calda.

We stayed at the B&B Antico Palmento from June 2 to June 5, and we can say without a doubt that it was one of the most wonderful experiences we've had in the Aeolian Islands! The property is simply perfect: immaculately clean rooms, meticulously maintained, welcoming, and equipped with every comfort. You can immediately sense the passion and love that goes into running this place. The location is fantastic: quiet, relaxing, and yet incredibly convenient, about 10 minutes from the center of Lipari and just steps from Canneto beach, perfect for both enjoying the sea and having a hassle-free night out. Breakfast deserves a special mention: spectacular! Having breakfast on the private terrace makes waking up even more magical. Excellent products, a wonderful atmosphere, and a view that immediately immerses you in the spirit of the Aeolian Islands. But the true soul of Antico Palmento is Nicola, the owner: an exceptional person! Always smiling, friendly, available for anything, and ready to recommend places, beaches, and bars. It makes you feel at home from the first moment, and that's truly the added value of the property. Plus, as big fans of Renato Zero, we also had a wonderful time singing along with him at a fun karaoke night... and that made our stay even more special and authentic! ❤️ If you want a true Aeolian experience, this is the place. We'll definitely be back! ❤️

A property curated with great attention to detail. The tastefully furnished rooms, embellished with elements that tell a story, offer comfort and relaxation. The palmento in the living room, an ancient feature masterfully brought back to life. The intimate and welcoming terrace is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast. The cleanliness is impeccable, and everything contributes to a relaxing, hospitable, and familiar atmosphere. The location is truly convenient: a bakery, bar, supermarket, rental shop, pharmacy, and other services are just steps away. The shuttle stop is very close, allowing easy access to the main points of interest. Even the most beautiful islands and beaches are easily accessible from the Canneto marina, avoiding the traffic of the Lipari port: a convenience that makes all the difference. But what makes this place truly special is Nicola: a true artist, both in his work and his story. Welcoming, helpful, and thoughtful, he is one of those rare people you meet. Always present, discreet, and attentive to every need, he knows how to make you feel at home with ease and warmth. We recommend this unique place, where nothing is left to chance and every detail reflects passion and dedication. Here you can experience a rare balance, a perfect "zero to zero"!

This is truly excellent place. Location is almost ideal - beach is within 150 meters, bus stop is just 50 meters away, there are plenty of places to eat nearby and several supermarkets in vicinity. Our host Nicola is absolutely fantastic person. Very gentle, caring, always available and ready to help. He helped us to find best option to eat, to visit, to travel around. He is really genuine person and we really love him! B&B is impeccably clean, tastefully refurbished and beautiful, rooms are spacious and very comfortable, Breakfast was good, typical; Italian style - more than enough after perfect dinner! There is also a beautiful terrace, where we could sit in the evening and have a drink and enjoy our time on Lipari! Not to forget - it is possible to have dinner prepared for the guests with typical Eolian dishes, wine and water included - fantastic taste, huge portions, and very reasonable price! We heartily recommend this place for everyone! Hopefully we'll get there again one day! Grazie mille Nicola!!!
