Piccolo Amore

I'm giving it one star because I can't give it less. Terrible service. The agent was rude and impolite. He even had the nerve to threaten me. Money taken under the table without an invoice and without the possibility of contesting it.

We arrived at a "branch" of the B&B. The pictures sent by the owner were beautiful... but in reality it was anything but. A small apartment for 4 people, rented to 5, including 2 children and a cat (pets are allowed, according to the owner). The kitchen and living area are tiny for 5 people... we didn't even know where to put our groceries. The ground-floor apartment is extremely hot, with shutters only in one of the two bedrooms. Instead of mosquito nets, there are mesh curtains held at the top by two nails and at the bottom by some rocks. In the second bedroom, the same mosquito netting, but no shutters, the blackout blinds were placed inside the window frame (so we were forced to sleep with the shutters closed, or open, but practically within everyone's reach). I'll draw a veil over the cleanliness (I had to clean everything, especially the shower). As for the property, it's not pet-friendly at all, and I expected it, considering I'd been told pets were welcome. When we complained, the owner, annoyed, invited me to leave if I wanted. And so I did...two weeks in that dump definitely isn't a vacation. Ultimately, my only 15 days of vacation were wasted; one night in this apartment cost me €500 (deposit not returned). The "nice" owner will manage to rent the apartment again...by putting "rental due to cancellation" on the ad. Just so you know, I didn't cancel...I ran away.

The property is close to the city center and the sea (a 15-minute walk). The apartments are clean and comfortable. The owner is very kind and helpful. Recommended.

The apartment we were assigned didn't match the pictures posted... mostly, there was an unbearable musty smell inside... the bathroom was blind, as was the second bedroom... We went to sleep at my sister's house, who was staying in the same place, in a slightly more decent apartment, but nothing particularly comfortable.... When we complained to the owner, he replied, without any regret or apology, that there had been a leak.....

A welcoming residence with all the comforts, efficient management, and apartments with ample outdoor space overlooking a beautiful flowering garden with lemon, olive, and fig trees. Highly recommended and definitely worth returning to.
