I've been here two times. I wish that I could live there. First time for 7 days and explored Pulignano by the sea. Crystal clear blue water, beautiful and sumptuous restorants in the cliffs with openings (no windows) to see the beach below. Many little shops to buy beautiful unique items. Aquaviva is a cute place and from there we drove west to Albero Bello, Alta Mura, drove by the adorable Trulli with contadini working in the fields, all the way to Mattera, an ancient place which has been featured in many films. We ate lunch there, sweet little caffe. The food at Massaria is rivaled by no restaurant youve eaten in. Massaria grows everything you eat there. They have Vinyards, Olive and Cherry orchards to stroll. They produce wine and olive oil.
A perfect oasis in the Bari area. Accessible to the many great destinations in Puglia, Masseria Molfetta provides comfort in a bucolic farm setting just 2 KM off the main highway. The host, Franco, is a delight and serves a delicious breakfast in a beautiful courtyard setting. The rooms are comfortable and spotless allowing for peaceful sleep and rest from touring. It's an amazing value for such a charming spot.
I stayed here as a bed and breakfast guest and had a wonderful stay here with my dad. We stayed for 5 nights on property. The rooms were simple but more than enough to be comfortable, with great air conditioning to counteract the summertime heat outside. Niccolo the owner and his brother Franco were both incredibly warm and accommodating. And the breakfast they provided each day was delicious - pastries, fresh fruit, bread, salami, and cheese, and made to order coffee. We had a great stay and it was also a nice central spot for us, from which we drove around Puglia to different areas of the region.
The worst restaurant experience ever, very bad service, very arrogant manager lazy waiter's they didn't have a clue about customer service, asking for drinks 3 times and never get any . Food isn't bad, the Chef deserve much better front of hause staff
This is my favorite place on the planet. The grounds are gorgeous, the climate is perfect, the food is the best I've ever eaten - ever. The hosts make you feel like welcome guests of their family. If you find yourself traveling to the region of Puglia don't miss out on this place.
