A family home, not just a building Baita Sostasio is an ancient Carnian house that has belonged to our family for over 40 years: we chose it and restored it carefully, deciding to preserve its old stone facade. Low doorways and door frames marked by time still tell the story of those who lived here before us, when cured meats were smoked downstairs during the Carnian winter. This is not just any house converted into a holiday rental: it's a piece of history we wanted to protect, and that we now want to share with you. The baita combines the charm of Friuli tradition with modern comfort: stone and wood create a warm, welcoming atmosphere, ideal after a day on the trails, by lakes or on the slopes. The house sleeps up to 6 people and is perfect for families, couples or groups of friends. In winter you'll find ski slopes, snowboarding, snowshoeing and postcard-perfect snowy landscapes. Monte Zoncolan is about 15 minutes by car away.
