We had a wonderful two-week stay at this hotel with our family and couldn't have been happier with our experience. The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and were always available to provide support and useful recommendations. The location is excellent—convenient, peaceful, and close to everything we needed. It was a perfect base for exploring the area while still being a relaxing place to return to after a day out. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Our room had everything we needed for a long stay, and the overall atmosphere was warm and family-friendly. We truly appreciated the hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail shown by the owners throughout our stay. It is clear that they genuinely care about their guests and work hard to make everyone feel comfortable. We would like to thank the owners for making our family holiday so enjoyable. Our first night ever in Italy was spent here, in Antico Casale, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. Authentically Italian, our sea view room was comfortable and loaded with charm. Our host, Cesare, is a delightful man. Gracious, welcoming, and accommodating, you’ll feel like you’ve made a friend for life. Every morning he brought us delicious loquats picked fresh from his tree. Will definitely stay here again!

A truly wonderful place to stay! The hosts are amazing and beautiful people! It is quiet and safe and very tranquil. I will return to this beautiful place. Many places to sit and relax and walking distance to the beach. Look no further and stay here. You will love it!

We spent a week in beautiful Calabria for our share of the sun and relaxation. The place has a big terrace with a great view of the sea, keeping the authentic feel of the place with tables made out of old mill stones used for making olive oil, while the old house, dating from circa 1700, integrates perfectly with the landscape, but nonetheless all modern and comfortable on the inside. The location is ideal: it's a 5 minute walk to the nearest market store and a 7 minutes to the beach. We had all what was necessary for a relaxed stay: a very clean room with a large bed, colorfully decorated, air conditioning for those hot summer days, plus a large kitchen where we could cook our favorite Italian pasta. The owners were very warm and helped us with a lot of insights about local sightseeing and every day they saw that we were not missing anything. In this respect, we can only thank them for the great services and warmth they put in offering their guests the perfect holidays. We highly recommend the place for its people, quietness, great atmosphere and location. We will surely be back!

Beyond the sheer beauty of the location, located in the foothills of the cliffs upon which the ancient medieval villages crumble into their vista of the Tyrrhenian Sea below, this place has wonderful hospitality and amenities. They thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, fun, interesting, and they add a touch of warm hospitality. I've stayed here twice now, and it's like being welcomed back by old relatives. The family is wonderful, the hotel very well thought out, the location stunning yet peaceful and relaxed. You can play on the beach - a five minute walk - or you can drive to the villages on the cliffs, visit Paola and Tropea, Pizzo and other tourist attractions and religious sites. The roads are new and in great condition if you enjoy curvy steep mountain switch-backs through forests and "macchia mediterranea" shrubs and flowers. If you have a motorbike, you'll think you're in Heaven! The beaches abound, and the terrace provides a great place to have your morning coffee, afternoon tea, or digestif with the moon shining on the sea below, to picnic... or to bring your laptop and get some work done in the sun, or to socialize with the other guests.
